GD Industrials Group
In 2015, after the acquisition of multiple companies in the vacuum and pressure world, Gardner Denver Headquarters decided to create the “Industrials Group” to facilitate and optimize access to their products and brands. Based on the existing CI an online portal was commissioned to Hennig. Speed was of the essence.
We developped a design concept that satisfied both headquarters and the brand marketing directors and completed the frontend coding in record time. Gardner Denver’s IT team in the UK were responsible for integrating the code into their QMS Ektron which was then populated with content by local specialists. Updates and additions are executed by the customer – as always closely linked to Hennig and their back office team.
Elmo Rietschle by Gardner Denver
After the merger of nash_elmo and Rietschle, two key players in their global markets, Hennig created their first joint website in 2006. The site was eventually published in 13 languages and stood the test of time until 2016, when we were given the task to relaunch it. The brand design now had to reflect the Industrials Group identity which meant that our specialists could use some of the frontend code already written. A new CMS had since been chosen for Gardner Denver (Sitecore) and Hennig cooperated with the UK based IT team to integrate the backend. Elmo Rietschle puts more than 1200 documents at the disposal of their customers and we are proud to have created an easy-to-use tool to access these papers.
Robuschi by Gardner Denver
The same, but in blue: the Italian manufacturer Robuschi joined Gardner Denver in 2017 and Hennig created their new website aligned with the Industrial Group’s design concept. Lead generation is a major task of GD’s websites and we took care of this by making it very easy to get in touch with the sales teams worldwide. The Robuschi products are usually customized and are not sold by clicks – a team of engineers provides the know-how for sales and after-sales services. This is typical of machine manufacturers and Hennig has the experience to create successful B2B online solutions.
Gardner Denver Transport Solutions
Unlike the majority of vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors that find their place in a manufacturing environment, Gardner Denver Transport Solutions supply products used in mobile applications such as trucks, silos or conveying equipment of all sorts. Hennig created their website using TYPO3, as at the time of its creation the new CMS to be used by all brands had not yet been decided. An important trade show was coming up and we created the site in less than three weeks with a team of GD personnel and Hennig specialists gathered in a conference room for a week. True team work!
